What do I do if I am having a life threatening emergency?
What is a Mental Health Emergency?
If you or someone you know has a mood or thought disorder and is having:
1) thoughts of self-harm,
2) thoughts of harming others
3) unable to provide for basic needs (food, clothing, shelter)
This is considered a Mental Health Emergency and requires immediate evaluation.
Please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
The Centralized Assessment Team is able to make home visits to evaluate need for hospitalization in Orange County. 866-830-6011. Please be aware that the sheriffs will come out to ensure safety of the clinician before they arrive.
